Lauren Sanchez

Lauren currently serves as Assistant Dean in the School of Communication at Loyola University Chicago. In this role, she oversees the academic advising and support unit for the School, including advisement of undergraduate and graduate students, collaboration with faculty to update curriculum and interpret academic policy, and planning annual Commencement ceremonies.
Lauren holds a B.A. in public relations and political science from Western Kentucky University, and an M.Ed. in Higher Education and Student Affairs from the University of South Carolina. It was during her time at South Carolina that Lauren was introduced to Appreciative Advising and was immediately hooked. She has since co-led three sections of the online Appreciative Advising course, and has twice served as a faculty member at the Appreciative Advising Institute.
